WANG Juan、HUANG Bo编的《Spatio-temporal Modeling and Analysis of Urban Heat Islands in China》 developed a systematic research framework following the outline of“retrieving land surface temperature(LST)describing the spatio-temporal patterns．revealing the associated factors，and simulating the response to urban expansion”．It provided ail in—depth comprehensive understanding about the variations andassociated factors of UHI，enriched knowledge on the UHI and provided referencesto mitigate UH／effect in China．
This book is available for undergraduate and graduate students majored ingeographic information science，urban and rural planning．It is also recommendedas a reference book for researchers engaged in related researches such as urban heatisland．image fusion and climate simulation．
